ABOUT SOSCIETY
SOSCIETY is the student constituent body representing the School of Social Sciences (SOSS). It consists of passionate SOSS students who are keen to create an enriching and well-rounded Social Sciences experience for their peers.
Established in 2004, SOSCIETY's vision is to unite SOSS students (past, present & future), striving for excellence and pursuing opportunities as a cohesive community. With unique social events, professional and academic development opportunities, and community service initiatives, SOSCIETY aims to create an inclusive and vibrant university life experience for all SOSS students!
KEY EVENTS
SOSS Freshmen Orientation is SOSCIETY's biggest event of the year, with an exciting 3-day camp to welcome incoming SOSS freshmen to kickstart their SMU journeys on a high. With fun beach day activities and games, freshmen can look forward to bonding and forming lasting friendships with their batchmates.
SOSCIETY's Welfare Drives are held at the end of every semester, providing free goodies and snacks to boost our SOSS students' spirits nearing the finals period!
SOSCIETY’s Merchandise Sales are held every semester, featuring an array of vibrant items including clothing and accessories for the SOSS community, designed by our very own marketing department! This showcases our SOSS vibrancy and community spirit!

Introducing… CAMP REVERIA
One moment, everything was normal. The next… you’re in The Grid. A world that looks familiar, but feels a little too quiet.
No explanations. Just a countdown, four factions, and a simple rule: To move forward, you have to play.
From 21-23 July, step into 72 hours of mystery and challenges, where differences may bring you together. Not every game can be cleared alone. Not every path is meant to be followed. What you do next is up to you.
