CCA SCHOLARSHIP
A scholarship established by BIZCOM, an entity under the ambit of SMUSA.
SMUSA STUDENT AWARD
An award to recognise SMU students who are well-balanced in their academics and beyond.
SMUSA provides financial assistance to students with financial difficulties through various Grants and Scholarships.
Additionally, many other Financial Assistance Schemes, Bursaries and Scholarships are available to SMU undergraduates. Students can refer to SMU Financial Aid for a complete list of financial assistance that are available to them.
WORK-STUDY GRANT
The Work-Study Grant is aimed at assisting SMU students who are in need of financial assistance to fund their studies, to undertake International Exchange Programmes, Business Study Missions, Overseas Internships or Community Service Projects. SMUSA employs students under the Work-Study Grant for its day-to-day operations.

Quantum

Up to $2,400 (gross) per grant in return for a maximum of 200 hours or the equivalent of work.

A minimum of 50 work hours is required to be eligible for WSG Scheme. For work assignments of less than 200 hours, remuneration will be computed at $12 (gross) for each hour of work completed.
Eligibility

Full-time SMU undergraduates

Preference will be given to students with per capita monthly household income of less than $1,500, and without access to bursaries and/or scholarships.

No repayment is required.

SMUSA-BIZCOM CCA SCHOLARSHIP
The SMUSA-BIZCOM CCA Scholarship is established by BIZCOM, an entity under the ambit of SMUSA. This scholarship is aimed at encouraging full-time SMU undergraduates to pursue a holistic, well-balanced education.
Quantum

Two scholarships, each valued at $2,500 with a one-year tenure, will be awarded annually.
Eligibility
-
Full-time SMU undergraduates in or proceeding to Year 2 or 3 of their studies
-
Exceptional CCA or community involvement with proven leadership qualities
-
Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
-
Student shows interest in participating SMU Alumni's activities
-
Student shows interest in promoting entrepreneurial activities would be advantageous
-
Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship offered by SMU
-
Preference for students with demonstrated financial needs

No repayment is required.

This award is established by SMUSA, and supported by BIZCOM, an entity under SMUSA. The award seeks to recognise and support students who embraced a holistic and well-balanced education by venturing beyond academic studies and actively involving themselves in CCAs, community work, or entrepreneurial pursuits.
