ABOUT SICS
The Special Interest and Community Service Sodality (SICS) is one of the four CCA Constituent Bodies in SMUSA.
SICS represents 23 diverse interest groups and long-term community service groups in SMU. SICS has five clusters (Community Service Cluster, Lifestyle Cluster, Professional Development Cluster, Social Causes Cluster and Social Gaming Cluster) to suit different interests and enrich student life in SMU.
SIGNATURE EVENTS
In celebration of our 20th anniversary in 2020, SMU launched SMOO Challenge in September, a virtual run that united the entire community, boosted mental and physical wellness and fundraised for underprivileged students who required financial support, especially due to COVID-19. Join us for our upcoming SMOO Challenge 2022!
We partner with Mountbatten Vocational School (MVS) to help youths with disabilities realise their value and importance in our society through a series of weekly outreach events, in hopes of creating a more inclusive society. Join us as a volunteer this summer and learn more about the special needs community!
SICS Day is held annually to showcase the niche of our 23 clubs and promote their interest, providing the clubs with an opportunity to forward their interest and engage the SMU community.

As part of the SMU Freshmen Experience, SICS Camp seeks to welcome all freshmen by immersing them in a wide array of activities organised by all our 22 SICS clubs. Participants of our 2-day summer orientation programme will meet like-minded friends and gain a deeper understanding of all our clubs. This will definitely be a memorable event not to be missed!
