ABOUT SICS
"The Special Interest and Community Service Sodality (SICS) is one of the four CCA Constituent Bodies in SMUSA.
SICS represents 22 diverse student organisations designed to invigorate your school life. SICS is made up of 5 clusters: Personal Development Cluster, Lifestyle Cluster, Social Gaming Cluster, Social Causes Cluster, and Community Service Cluster. Whether you’re looking to explore new hobbies, contribute to meaningful causes, or simply connect with like-minded individuals. There is something for everyone.
SIGNATURE EVENTS
SMOO Challenge Lite is an event that unites the entire SMU Community through improving their mental and physical wellness, with the aim of doing good for the community.
SMOO Challenge is SMU's flagship university-wide fundraising initiative dedicated to uplifting underprivileged students through bursary support. First launched in 2020 to mark SMU's 20th Anniversary, SMOO Challenge has become the university's unifying movement that rallies students, staff, alumni and partners in the shared spirit of giving and community. Every alternate year, SMOO Challenge rotates with SMOO Challenge Lite, spearheaded by SICS.

SICS CAMP 2025
SICS GO is a 2-day Freshman Orientation Programme where you journey through the vibrant lands of Special Interest and Community Service Sodality (SICS), exploring its 22 special interest and community service clubs. From empowering communities to celebrating unique passions, these clubs span causes, lifestyles, skills, and shared interests, offering you a space to grow and belong.
With fun-filled games and immersive activities that showcase the wide variety of clubs, you can look forward to forging new friendships and getting a taste of what SICS has to offer.
