Hello! I’m Amelia, a Year 2 Business student with a vision to create a more supported, united, and driven SMU community. As an Events Deputy, I’ve witnessed SMUSA's power in shaping student life and they’ve inspired me to dream bigger about what we can achieve together.
I’m excited to build stronger platforms for student voices, create more opportunities for connection, and ensure that SMUSA continues to be approachable, impactful, and dedicated to serving you. Together, let’s shape an SMU experience that isn't just memorable, but truly meaningful. Because at the heart of everything I do, it’s always Ame for You.

HEY!! I’m Emily, a Year 1 (left-handed, allergic to donuts) Business student running for the 26th SMUSA Exco.
Fun fact: I acted in a movie at 14 but couldn’t watch it because I was underage!
To me, ENERGY is everything — it’s the pulse of our community. It’s knowing when to TURN IT UP with unforgettable events, and when to
BALANCE IT with support during exam time.
Beyond events, many of you carry BOLD IDEAS — diamonds in the rough, waiting to shine. That’s where I come in: to be your ENERGY, your
EXCITEMENT, your EMPOWERMENT.
Bring the ENERGY, vote for EMILY!

Hello everyone! I’m Grace, a Year 2 Accounting student, running for the 26th SMUSA ExCo to create a meaningful impact on student life that is vibrant, supportive, and truly inclusive. From planning 2025’s Freshmen Orientation to serving in the SMU Accounting Society, I have seen how the smallest ideas can grow into lasting change. Fun Fact: I love building LEGO because I believe every block, like every student, matters in creating something bigger. Together, we can make SMU an even more exciting and inclusive community. Vote Grace for SMUSA!

Hi everyone! I’m Katherine, a Year 2 Accountancy student passionate about serving others and strengthening connections in our SMU community.
Inspired since secondary school by leaders who empower others, I am running for the 26th SMUSA ExCo to grow my leadership skills while uplifting students.
My goals are to:
1. K(C)reate an inclusive environment where every voice matters
2. Amplify students' engagement through meaningful platforms
3. build Togetherness with a more supportive, connected community
(Psst… fun fact: Kat’s a big fan of “Mystery” from Saja Boys in KPop Demon Hunters!)

Hi everyone! I’m Zhi Xuan, a Year 2 Business student running for SMUSA EXCO to represent students’ voices and grow as a leader.
Just like how I enjoy capturing moments with my digicam, I hope to create meaningful memories for everyone in SMU. As Vice Chairperson of SMU Freshmen Orientation 2025, I strengthened my ability to foster belonging and create an inclusive, engaging environment.
I aspire to bring these skills to SMUSA, ensuring every student feels heard, valued, and part of a vibrant community. I’ll champion student wellbeing through fun, interactive initiatives that enrich our journey.
Vote for Zhi Xuan!

Hello! I’m Le Jing, a Year 2 Economics student.
A fun fact about me is that I love trying new food and learning about people’s perspectives and stories along the way. Through my experience on the Freshmen Orientation Organising Committee, I saw how meaningful events can impact student life, and that inspired me to run for SMUSA to champion student welfare and create opportunities that bring everyone together.
I hope to bring this spirit forward by actively listening to your voices, championing your ideas, and supporting initiatives that are engaging, impactful, and enriching for our SMU community.

HI SMU!! I’m Jing Xi, a year 2 Business Student who is deeply committed to serving the student body.
My experiences in SMUSA, Freshmen Orientation and Vivace have been extremely worthwhile in developing my leadership and problem-solving skills, and I’ll like to continue my SMUSA journey by stepping up and leading the 26th SMUSA Executive Committee.
I aim to shape for a better future and to advocate for changes that streamline work processes and enhances your student life in SMU. The future is uncertain, but what is certain is my commitment to you.
Xi the future with Jing Xi!

My name is Jinwoo, a first year SOB student. I am running for SMUSA because I really enjoyed being the student council president in my high school and I would love to also hold a leadership role here and contribute to the school. If elected, I want to launch a transparent feedback-to-policy system with a response deadline of two weeks for every suggestion/complaint and publish a monthly report. A fun fact about me is that I am from Korea but I went to an international school in Thailand for the past ten years.

Hey SMU! I’m Yu Rae, many recognise me simply as Rae! I’m a Year 2 Information Systems student, ready to serve you as part of the upcoming 26th SMUSA Executive Committee! Currently serving my time as a SMUSA deputy, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with students and leaders across our community. Through this experience, I’ve seen how much more we can achieve when we are connected, engaged, and empowered. My vision is to strengthen connectivity within our student community and open up fresh, transformative opportunities for all. Do give me the chance to listen, empower, and serve you!

Hello SMU! I’m Terence, a Year 2 Information Systems student.
A fun fact: I’m a cafe-hopping addict, always hunting for hidden gems. Like every cafe’s unique charm, I’ve realized through my time as a SMUSA Deputy that every student brings something special to our community.
To me, leadership is about the people. It's about lifting others, building bonds, and creating lasting moments.
I want to carry that energy forward by creating meaningful experiences, strengthening connections, and making SMU a place where every student feels seen, heard, and part of something bigger.
Because community is here. It is us.

Hi! I’m Ying Yi, a Year 2 Business Management undergraduate running for SMUSA.
I am running because of my passion to serve and to contribute meaningfully to the school community.
To me, university life should be more than just lectures and projects. It should be about building connections, creating memories and supporting one another through the ups and downs.
Together, we can foster stronger student interactions, spark engaging campus activities and ensure that every student feels supported.
Let’s shape a vibrant and unforgettable SMU experience. Vote Ying Yi for SMUSA!
