Hii everyone! My name is Adriana and I'm a Y1 Social Science student, running to be part of your next SMUSA ExCo. I’m running because I want to make SMU feel a little more connected, where I hope to create more opportunities for students from different schools and circles to meet and make the most of their time here.
More importantly, I want to help create a campus where everyone has a place to contribute, while making your time at SMU filled with meaningful experiences, connections and memories!

Hey SMU! I’m Bhumika, a year 2 SOSS student running for the 27th SMUSA EXCO. Through organising and being part of events such as SMUFO, ACF Arts Camp, and Arts Fest, I have gathered valuable experience in planning and executing initiatives for the student community, and it has prepared me to take on a leadership role of this calibre. I hope to bring these experiences into SMUSA to better represent and support the needs and interests of the student body.
In true marvel fashion, if things get tough… I can do this all day.

Hello! I’m Charles, a year 2 accountancy student running for the 27th SMUSA EXCO.
Fun Fact: I love playing Magic the Gathering!
I believe clubs in SMU are the lifeblood of student life and that the highest calling one can aspire to is to champion the livelihoods of all clubs and students; Running for SMUSA EXCO enables me to do just that.
I will push for transparent leadership and clearer processes. Building collective ownership between SMUSA and students is my end-game. SMU is our home, we should all have a stake in it.

Hi SMU, I’m Diouf! I’m a Year 1 Law student running for the 27th SMUSA Executive Committee because I want to contribute meaningfully to the SMU community. I hope to build a more connected, inclusive, and student-focused SMU by listening to students, understanding their concerns, and turning their feedback into action. I hope to create an environment where every student feels heard and supported. I believe leadership is about listening, taking ownership and being willing to do the work — both seen and unseen.
Fun fact, I am ADDICTED to collecting Hironos and Pokemon Cards (extremely unfriendly to my wallet).

My time in the Freshmen Orientation organising committee inspired me to apply my interpersonal skills to serve our wider student community through welfare and champion underheard voices. I want to LISTEN to your concerns, CONNECT you to resources, and DEVELOP an inclusive student experience.
Here’s a fact I’ll let go: I once planned and booked an entire trip just four hours before the flight, but I won’t let it go when it comes to your student welfare.

If elected, I hope to create more opportunities for students to connect through fun and inclusive events, while improving communication and feedback so everyone feels heard. I want to be someone you can approach, rely on, and trust to turn ideas into action. Most importantly, I will work hard to make this year a memorable one for everyone.
